Players: 2-4
Playing Time: 15-30
minutes
10 Days in the USA is a new game from the same people who
previously brought you 10 Days in Africa.
This game plays in the same way, where your goal is to plan a ten-day journey across the
United States by arranging state tiles, car tiles, and plane tiles in a winning
pattern.
It's a fun game, and probably a little bit easier to get into
than its African predecessor—given that while you may have had trouble locating Chad,
Niger, and Mali, you probably already have a good idea (I hope) of where Colorado is in
relation to Michigan. The game can be played with younger children who may just be
learning geography, because it's simple enough for almost anyone to play. At the same
time, it can educate in a very subtle way because the game itself is easy and
enjoyable.
10 Days in the USA is for 2-4 players, and each game takes
about 15-30 minutes, depending on the knowledge level of the players. Obviously, you can
expect a longer game if you're playing with a seven- or
eight-year-old.
So whether it's just for fun, for educational purposes,
or both, 10 Days in the USA is another enjoyable "edu-tainment" type game from Out of the
Box Publishing.
