Barbara Hodges brings something a little different to her paranormal romances, exploring boundaries and going beyond them in her writing to create something highly entertaining. This makes her a fantastic e-book author you’ll definitely want to check out.
As the oldest child of four, growing up in Redbluff, California, Barbara Hodges’ job was to watch and entertain her siblings, which usually involved stories and role-playing.
Today, she spends her time with the many Basset Hounds she collects (the live ones), and does decorative painting on anything that’ll stand still long enough. She’s most passionate about Basset Hound rescue (don’t shop, adopt!).
Some of her favorite things include: her hubby, her friends, her mom, her nieces, her houndies, NASCAR, chocolate, cooking shows, Survivor, American Idol, and Dancing with the Stars.

Why did you begin writing?
Stories in my head…beginnings that needed endings.
What author inspires you?
Just one? Stephen King.

Having others read my work.
Have you experienced writer’s block? And if so, how did you cure it?
Never. It’s the other way…I have too many stories I want to write.
When is your next book due out, and what’s it about?
My latest book, A Spiral of Echoes, co-written with Maggie Pucillo, has just been released. It is a paranormal romance set in Baja. Mexico. A woman escapes there to recharge, discovers a lonely ghost who fixates on her and an aggravating Latino man who makes her want to soar and scream at the same time.
