Bank Robbery Suspect Stanley Geddie Takes Cab
Originally reported by Huffington Post
Witnesses told police that Geddie seemed to be drunk during his alleged bank-robbery-by-taxi.
When Geddie, 46, arrived at the Central City Bank, he owed $25.50. He allegedly told the driver, “I will take care of you when I come out,” according to Tallahassee.com. Geddie then walked into the bank and asked to speak to the manager.
Concerned tellers contacted police, who quickly arrived on the scene and met up with the disgruntled cab driver, who explained that Geddie was drunk and had stiffed him on the fare, according to WTSP.com. Officers said Geddie did not follow commands and was shocked with a stun gun before being arrested.
After arriving at the bank in a taxi, he left in an ambulance. He was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for stun gun wounds, according to the New York Daily News.
While there, he allegedly told police that he was wearing two pairs of pants, figuring if he removed one pair after the robbery, he wouldn’t look like the suspect.
An excellent plan.
The News from Beaver

A man is in jail after authorities say he foiled his own robbery by accidentally pepper-spraying himself.
The Register-Herald reports that 43-year-old Michael Kevin Meadows of West Virginia was arrested for attempted robbery. Authorities say a man went into a pharmacy in Beaver on Tuesday wearing full camouflage and a paintball mask.
The would-be robber started spraying pepper spray in an effort to take down employees, then walked into the cloud of pepper spray. Police say security footage showed that he was affected by his own pepper spray.
Brilliant.
Breakup of the Century

Big Sean and Ariana Grande have split after nearly nine months of dating, E! News can confirm.
The two released the following joint statement: “They both care deeply for each other and remain close friends. We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.”
Earlier this year, the rapper gushed about his former leading lady during a visit to On Air with Ryan Seacrest, saying, “That Ariana is very, very special. She’s very special to me…. Everything she has going on is good with her, everything I have going on is good with me, everything between me and her is good, and I’m just going to leave it at that.”
The two were first linked together in August 2014, and the songstress confirmed the dating rumors in October during an interview with Telegraph magazine, where she said that he was “one of the most amazing men in the world, and that includes my grandfather and my brother.”
A pity—they seemed to have been made for each other.
The Unknown Burglar

Connecticut police say they’re looking for a burglar who may be named Bob. Police say a woman reported a break-in at about 2:30 a.m. Monday at her home in New Haven. The woman told police that she asked who was in her hallway, and the man replied “Bob” before fleeing out a back door.
Police say that no one who lives in the apartment knows Bob, who apparently entered through an unlocked front door.
Police also say that it doesn’t appear that anything was stolen from the apartment.
All we know for sure is that Bob is on the move.
