This video really
does allow you to get a workout in 15 minutes, including warm-up and cool down. It even
has a clock that shows how much time is left in the workout. There are four separate
15-minute workouts for arms, thighs, buns, and abs. Combining the exercises into a
one-hour routine gives you an even better workout.
Because it’s “For
Dummies,” it gives the user lots of tips, reminders about proper form, and modifications
to make the exercises easier or more challenging. Most of the instructions are easy to
follow. During the warm-up, the instructor, Gay Gasper, starts with one movement then
adds more to the routine. (Although by the time she gets to three movements, I’m lost.
But I’m not the most coordinated person in the world.)
I find this video
convenient if I need a quick workout, but not something I would rely on completely for my
overall fitness needs. But if you’re just starting out, or you need additional workouts
for your arms, thighs, buns or abs, this is a good one to add to your
collection.
