Books, like most forms of entertainment, come in all forms. Some are thousands of pages long and have the potential to be life-changing. Others tell gripping stories that keep you glued to the book until you’ve reached the climax. Still others are like little pieces of candy: treats that don’t take long to read but are still thoroughly enjoyable.
Cattitude: The Feline Guide to Being Fabulous is one of those “candy” books.
This short book features feminine advice that seems straight out of Sex and the City: “If you’re blessed with a little extra, flaunt it.” “Unless you made the rules, ignore them.” “Have one good come-hither look.” Each of these nuggets is paired with a picture-perfect black-and-white photo of a cat personifying the advice given on the opposite page.
The snippets of advice are cute, but the cats are the real heart of this book. The photography is stellar, and the cats are just adorable. It won’t take you long to read the 60 pages in Cattitude, but I guarantee they’ll bring a smile to your face.
