This is a spectacular sophomore album by this genius artist, self-produced in collaboration with .nightsandweekends.com/articles/05/NW0500448.php> Kanye West . Once Again is different, and a bit softer with more of a retro edge, than Legend’s award-winning debut album, Get Lifted,
but it is every bit as good.
It opens up with “Save Room,” a sweet, romantic track. Next up is “Heaven,” which opens with a couple of chillingly gorgeous a capella bars and rolls right into a delightful jam. “Stereo” is upbeat, danceable and has great lyrics. “P.D.A. (We Just Don’t Care)” is extremely catchy with a great melody and a generous mix of instrumentals. “Slow Dance” is bluesy and rich with warm, buttery vocals. “Where Did My Baby Go” is so melodic and sweet, it will make you close your eyes, take a nice, deep breath and just float away with it. This means that I do not recommend listening to it in your car (unless you’re comfortably parked somewhere very safe).
The songs on this album that aren’t danceable, are still thoroughly swayable. Once Again is absolutely packed with some seriously strong talent and definitely worth checking out.
