Now that summer is over and the kids are back in school, your favorite college teams are once again taking to the gridiron. And whether you’re tailgating before the Big Game on Saturday or watching from the comfort of your own living room, we at N&W.com — with the help of our friends at RecreAction Games — want to help you play some games of your own while supporting your favorite school.
In our new Be True to Your School Giveaway, one lucky NightsAndWeekends.com Weekend Reminder subscriber will win licensed versions of Bulls-Eye Washers and Chuck-O—complete with his or her favorite NCAA school’s colors and logo (or, if your favorite team isn’t on the list, you can get generic versions instead).
Want to win this school spirit prize package? It’s simple! All you need to do is visit our Weekend Reminder page and sign up (and activate your subscription) for our weekly newsletter by Monday, October 27, 2008. Not only will you get the latest entertainment updates every Thursday morning — just in time to start planning your weekend free time — but you’ll also be eligible for great contests like this one!
After you’ve activated your subscription, all you have to do is email your entry — complete with your name, mailing address, and the name of your favorite school (or, if you prefer, let us know that you want the generic versions of the games) to Contest@NightsAndWeekends.com.
For a full list of available schools — and for full contest details — be sure to visit our Weekend Reminder page.
Please Note: We love receiving your comments, but please note that commenting on this page doesn’t count as an entry. Be sure to send in your entry (as explained in the contest rules) so you won’t miss out on this great contest!
Kristin Dreyer Kramer has been writing in some form or another (usually when she was supposed to be doing something else) since the ripe old age of ten—when she, her cousin, and their two Cabbage Patch Dolls formed the Poo Authors’ Club. After a short career in advertising, Kristin got sick of always saying nice things about stuff that didn’t deserve it—so now she spends her days criticizing things, and she’s much happier for it.
Since creating NightsAndWeekends.com in February of 2002, Kristin has spent her life surrounded by piles and piles of books and movies—so many that her office has become a kind of entertainment obstacle course.
As if her writing and editing responsibilities for N&W.com weren’t enough to keep her out of trouble, Kristin also hosts a number of weekly radio shows: Reel Discovery, Shelf Discovery, and On the Marquee. She’s also a proud member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association (CriticsChoice.com), the Central Ohio Film Critics Association (COFCA.org), the Online Film Critics Society (OFCS.org), and the Women Film Critics Circle (WFCC.Wordpress.com).
Kristin lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, Paul, and their daughter, Anna. She welcomes questions, comments, and fan mail at kdk@nightsandweekends.com.
