This edition of Stolen from the Headlines covers a man who boarded a plane with a slight carry-on problem, two robbers who chose non-standard getaway vehicles, a college guy who somehow had been to a party he didn’t remember, and several 911 callers who once again had some really alarming news.
Baby, It’s Cold Outside

A man traveling from Iceland to England was arrested at the Iceland Keflavik International Airport when he tried to avoid an excess luggage fee by wearing eight pairs of pants and ten shirts.
Ryan Carney Williams, who goes by Ryan Hawaii, was reportedly denied a boarding pass at the British Airways desk for his flight home after he put on all his clothes that wouldn’t fit properly in his checked luggage.
Hawaii was stuck in Iceland airport without money and without luggage, since the bag he had checked successfully traveled to England without him. Eventually, Hawaii was able to get back to England aboard a Norwegian airline flight.
You have to give him credit: he was dressed for the weather.

Police in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, are seeking the location of two people who allegedly stole a woman’s credit card at Walmart, then scurried away on scooters.
Pennsylvania state police have released store surveillance images of the pair, who are pictured on the electric scooters at Walmart.
WNEP-TV reports the two allegedly took a woman’s credit cards and some cash after she lost her purse in the Honesdale Walmart on January 4. Several purchases were then made using the credit card, including at another Walmart, where the surveillance images were captured.
Updates on this story will be reported under “Scooter Crime.”
Higher Education

Many people have gone to at least one college party that (in retrospect) may have gotten out of hand in terms of alcohol consumption.
The Texas A&M police shared a hilarious tweet about their interaction with one suspect after making an arrest for public intoxication that, honestly, many of us can probably relate to.
Upon finding the person with their legs sticking out of some bushes, the campus police asked him a few questions, and his answers were beyond perfect.
“When asked what was going on…’No #*&! ^ idea.’ When asked where he was…‘Wherever you are.’ When asked how much drank… ‘Too much, Sir.’”
At 18, I skipped college—just another 4 years of homework, I said—but now I can see I may have missed some valuable life experiences.
