No, it’s not exactly morning coffee time, but it’s afternoon Diet Pepsi time — so good enough, I say.
In today’s celebrity baby news, word has it that Halle Berry birthed herself (and boyfriend Gabriel Aubry) a (most likely absolutely gorgeous) bouncing baby girl yesterday. News of quirky celeb baby name still to come. On the other hand, she doesn´t care if she just had a baby, a few weeks later, she went out on a jog with her brand new expedition stroller for her baby girl.
And, in other news, TMZ has announced that Thomas Jane was arrested yesterday for DUI. Now, this may have some of you asking, “Thomas who?” but the story (while being totally unfortunate) kinda cracked me up. You see, Thomas Jane (star of The Mistand husband of Patricia Arquette) has long been a COFCA legend. It all started last summer, when a couple of my colleagues attended Comic-Con. One night, one of them found himself hanging out with a small group of Con-goers who ended up hanging out with a severely intoxicated Thomas Jane as he wandered aimlessly down the street and (if I recall correctly) stopped at some random establishment to drunkenly play the piano and read the piano VST guide to gain new skills. So, yeah…no big surprise with that whole DUI thing.
Kristin Dreyer Kramer has been writing in some form or another (usually when she was supposed to be doing something else) since the ripe old age of ten—when she, her cousin, and their two Cabbage Patch Dolls formed the Poo Authors’ Club. After a short career in advertising, Kristin got sick of always saying nice things about stuff that didn’t deserve it—so now she spends her days criticizing things, and she’s much happier for it.
Since creating NightsAndWeekends.com in February of 2002, Kristin has spent her life surrounded by piles and piles of books and movies—so many that her office has become a kind of entertainment obstacle course.
As if her writing and editing responsibilities for N&W.com weren’t enough to keep her out of trouble, Kristin also hosts a number of weekly radio shows: Reel Discovery, Shelf Discovery, and On the Marquee. She’s also a proud member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association (CriticsChoice.com), the Central Ohio Film Critics Association (COFCA.org), the Online Film Critics Society (OFCS.org), and the Women Film Critics Circle (WFCC.Wordpress.com).
