After six years together–and a boat-load of marriage rumors–it seems that Jay-Z and Beyonce might finally be tying the knot. The two reportedly applied for a marriage licence yesterday in Scarsdale, New York–and they now have 60 days to get hitched before the licence expires.
Neither of the two seems to be commenting on the situation–but unless this is some elaborate hoax to promote a concert tour or something, we should be hearing the bells soon.
And, finally, more on our On-Again, Off-Again Report:
ON:
Jennifer Aniston and Hollywood. She and The Departed executive producer Kristin Hahn announced that they’ve formed a new production company, called Echo Films. They’re already busy lining up projects–most of which are stories inspired by books or real life, and many of which will also star Aniston.
OFF:
Katie Holmes and her hair. The world is abuzz this week with news of Katie Holmes and her latest, shorter-yet haircut. It always amazes me when people flip out over celebrities getting a haircut. I haven’t gotten a haircut in ages–but I’m pretty sure that, when I do, no one will even notice.
John Cusack and his stalker. Now, I realize that John Cusack is awesome. I love him, too. But some of us choose to admire him from afar. To collect all of his movies on DVD (even the really bad ones) and watch them over and over again. Most of us don’t feel the need to get arrested for violating our restraining orders by riding around his house in a cab. Though perhaps we would, if we knew where it was.
Kristin Dreyer Kramer has been writing in some form or another (usually when she was supposed to be doing something else) since the ripe old age of ten—when she, her cousin, and their two Cabbage Patch Dolls formed the Poo Authors’ Club. After a short career in advertising, Kristin got sick of always saying nice things about stuff that didn’t deserve it—so now she spends her days criticizing things, and she’s much happier for it.
Since creating NightsAndWeekends.com in February of 2002, Kristin has spent her life surrounded by piles and piles of books and movies—so many that her office has become a kind of entertainment obstacle course.
As if her writing and editing responsibilities for N&W.com weren’t enough to keep her out of trouble, Kristin also hosts a number of weekly radio shows: Reel Discovery, Shelf Discovery, and On the Marquee. She’s also a proud member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association (CriticsChoice.com), the Central Ohio Film Critics Association (COFCA.org), the Online Film Critics Society (OFCS.org), and the Women Film Critics Circle (WFCC.Wordpress.com).
Kristin lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, Paul, and their daughter, Anna. She welcomes questions, comments, and fan mail at kdk@nightsandweekends.com.

One of the other bloggers, Dos Un, reported about Jigga and B on Highbrid Nation and I thought it was a late April Fool’s joke. Beyonce and Jay-z have been together for like 6 years. He’s like 40. I figured if it hasn’t happened already it probably won’t. Maybe I’m wrong though. I can’t wait to see the babies. They will look like cute little camels.
