Let’s score one for Jax. Alliances are switching week by week. Could Opie and Bobby join Jax, with Tig for himself and Clay making promises he can’t deliver?
Also, what was Gemma thinking with this dinner? Was it supposed to alleviate the internal power struggle? It’s too late for that. Now if she wants to do some good she’s got to persuade Clay to step down or at least learn some diplomacy. Sure she won’t get all she’s wanted, but Clay is losing control as well as his mind.
Now Tara’s got to go. Jax has already told her that the club is his child, and though he speaks of change, it’s not the kind that she wants. She’s worked hard for her medical career, but she’s right—her association with SAMCRO will ruin her. And she is a liability. She’s making moral judgments on the girls, but not on the guy who got the club into the porn business with 18PlusPics.com online. That’s as legit as Jax is going to get. She does a mean job of cleaning a gunshot wound, though.
If it sounds like I’m bouncing around from sugar overload, you’re probably right. Actually that would have worn off by now, but my head is still spinning from all that happened this episode, with no resolution, except of course for the “knife” held over Elliot’s head. Let’s cross that off the books. Zobelle selling or should I say “giving” guns to the Mayans all the while remaining untouchable, Tig and Clay at odds and Luanne dead. Oh yes, and now who’s running for mayor?
I hope something gets straightened out next Tuesday, or my brain will be functioning like Clay’s—not knowing which end is up.
